IT Workforce Journeyman Certification Program

The IT Workforce Journeyman Certification Program is a comprehensive, career-focused training initiative designed to prepare participants for high-demand roles in the information technology industry. This program combines foundational knowledge, hands-on technical training, and industry-recognized certification preparation to develop job-ready IT professionals.

The program is designed as a workforce pipeline, helping participants transition from training into employment opportunities in IT support, help desk, networking, and cybersecurity roles with employer readiness support.

Participants are placed into cohorts based on aptitude and technical assessment results, ensuring they receive instruction that matches their skill level—from foundational IT literacy to advanced technical training—maximizing success and retention.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent if under 18) and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. No prior IT experience is required; however, basic computer literacy (navigating a computer, using the internet, and managing files) is strongly recommended. Participants must complete a program intake, aptitude assessment, and technical screening to determine placement. Reliable access to a computer and internet is required for participation. Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to learn, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to completing the program and pursuing industry-recognized certifications.

This program is designed for individuals seeking to start or advance a career in Information Technology. It is ideal for beginners with no prior IT experience as well as those with some technical background who want to earn industry certifications and gain hands-on experience in a real MSP environment.

No prior IT experience is required. However, participants must complete an intake process that includes a basic aptitude and technical assessment. This helps determine the appropriate cohort placement and ensures each learner receives training at the right level.

Participants are prepared for industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Tech+, CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+. These certifications are widely accepted by employers and help validate skills for entry-level and mid-level IT roles.

The program is delivered through a combination of instructor-led training, virtual labs, and hands-on experience within WeDreamToo’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Participants engage in real-world IT tasks such as troubleshooting, ticketing, and system support.

WeDreamToo is committed to maintaining a fair, respectful, and supportive learning environment. Participants have the right to file a grievance regarding any concern related to the program, including instruction, staff conduct, discrimination, harassment, or program policies.

Step 1: Informal Resolution
Participants are encouraged to first discuss concerns directly with the instructor or program staff within five (5) business days of the issue. Many concerns can be resolved quickly at this level.

Step 2: Formal Grievance Submission
If the issue is not resolved, the participant may submit a formal written grievance within ten (10) business days of the incident. The grievance should include:

  • Participant’s name and contact information
  • Description of the issue
  • Date(s) of occurrence
  • Any supporting documentation

Grievances may be submitted via email or in writing to program administration.

Step 3: Review and Investigation
Program leadership will acknowledge receipt of the grievance within three (3) business days and conduct a review. This may include interviews with involved parties and examination of relevant documentation.

Step 4: Resolution
A written decision will be provided within ten (10) business days of receipt of the formal grievance. The response will outline findings and any actions taken.

Step 5: Appeal Process
If the participant is not satisfied with the outcome, they may submit an appeal within five (5) business days of the decision. Appeals will be reviewed by senior leadership, and a final determination will be issued within ten (10) business days.

Non-Retaliation Policy
Participants will not face retaliation for filing a grievance in good faith.

This procedure ensures all concerns are addressed promptly, fairly, and in alignment with program standards and workforce development expectations.

WeDreamToo is committed to transparency and fairness regarding program costs and participant obligations. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

1. Cancellation Before Program Start
Participants who cancel their enrollment at least five (5) business days prior to the program start date are eligible for a full refund of any tuition paid, minus a non-refundable administrative fee (if applicable).

2. Withdrawal After Program Start
Participants who withdraw within the first week of the program may be eligible for a partial refund of up to 50% of tuition, based on the portion of the program completed. After the first week, no refunds will be issued.

3. Dismissal or Voluntary Withdrawal
Participants who are dismissed due to violation of program policies or who voluntarily withdraw after the refund period are not eligible for a refund.

4. Program Cancellation by WeDreamToo
If the program is canceled by WeDreamToo for any reason, participants will receive a full refund or may choose to transfer to a future cohort.

5. Non-Refundable Costs
Fees related to certification exam vouchers, learning materials, or third-party services are non-refundable once issued or accessed.

6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise arranged.

7. Special Circumstances
Requests for exceptions due to documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
